Christmas

It's is nearly Christmas, and I want to say Merry Christmas to you all.

Now, I know, many atheists are quite anti-Christmas. I am not one of them. I accept Christmas, even with it's Christian based name, for its Pagan origins. Christians actually shouldn't even be doing the whole Christmas tree thing. At least, according to their magic book, they shouldn't.

Jeremiah 10:2-4:

2 Thus saith the LORD, Learn not the way of the heathen, and be not dismayed at the signs of heaven; for the heathen are dismayed at them.
3 For the custom of the people are vain: for one cutteth a tree out of the forest, work of the hands of the workman, with the axe.
4 They deck it with silver and with gold; they fasten it with nails and with hammers, that it move not.
Of course, there's explanations of why that isn't talking about Christmas trees, but remember, there's an explanation for every stupid thing to be found in the Bible. It keeps people like Ray Comfort busy.

Anyways, seriously, Merry Christmas. Enjoy your holidays. I will.
